Andy Liddicott: 2012/2013 Biography & Statistics

Andy has been with Shots Ladies Team since 2005 but his association with The Shots goes back even further when he was a regular visitor to the club's first team games in the Les Briley, Ian McDonald and Co era.

Most of Andy's footballing days have come with the Army and a number of civilian clubs during his Army career, spanning over a period of 24 years, which finishes in September 2011.

Having spent 3 years playing in West Germany for the BOAR Army & Infantry team Andy also had a successful stint with German sides, AFC Minden and Bielefield. Andy also featured for two season's with Canterbury City following a posting to the area before moving over to Northern Ireland, where his playing days ceased due to a knee ligament injury.

After taking his coaching badges, he moved on to coach his Regimental Team with a number of highlights, the most significant being when he was in charge of the first ever Army side to win the Midlands Inter Services League.

Andy moved to Aldershot in 2005 and worked in the Army careers office and assisted the then Ladies Reserve Team manager John Hargreaves, before moving forward to take over from First Team Manager, Vic Harry.

After a number of years as the team manager, Andy stepped aside but remains very much involved in the day to day running of the club.

Andy can also be seen around the EBB Stadium on match days as he helps out with the 50/50 competition.
