Jordan Roberts: 2012/2013 Biography & Statistics

Jordan is a pacy and tricky left-sided winger, who is extremely skilled at crossing and in the execution of set-pieces.

He played schoolboy football for Peterborough United and went on to become a scholar at London Road before starting a scholarship, the first year of which he completed before being released. Jordan registered as a second year scholar with Aldershot Town early in the 2011-12 season and made his debut for the Youth Alliance side against AFC Wimbledon late in the October.

He has captained the team on more than one occasion and his eye-catching performances led to him being part of the senior matchday squad in January 2012, when he was an unused substitute in the League 2 game against Accrington Stanley at the EBB Stadium. The following month, Jordan's potential was recognised by him penning a two-and-a-half-year pro deal.

He made his first start against Dagenham and Redbridge midway through April 2012 before getting sent off five minutes from time against Rotherham United two weeks later.

Had loans at Havant and Waterlooville and Tamworth in 2012-13.
