Statement From Aldershot Town Football Club

We are pleased to welcome EBB as new club sponsors of Aldershot Town FC

Statement From Aldershot Town Football Club

Aldershot Town Football Club announce that recent discussions and negotiations have resulted in a change to the clubs main sponsorship arrangements.

Ezylet are to step aside to facilitate EBB becoming Aldershot Town Football Club main sponsor for a period of two years starting 1st July 2008.

This means that for the next two seasons, EBB will be on the front of the Shots playing shirts and (by pre-existing arrangement) the home ground for the club has been renamed "The EBB Stadium at The Recreation Ground".

These are the most obvious visible signs of the sponsorship, which will be complemented by many other arrangements and initiatives around the club.

John McGinty, Chairman of Aldershot Town Football Club, said "We have secured sponsorship for the next two years, critical in the ongoing development of the club."

"EBB have a long term relationship already in place at the club and this elevates it to a new and exciting level."

Long standing supporter Tim Elliott, Managing Director of EBB, further commented that "We are delighted that EBB have secured this position as main sponsor of Aldershot Town Football Club.

"We look forward to a close working relationship with the club as they enter the exciting realms of the Football League".

Indeed EBB have previously sponsored the club during the 2006/07 season and have, for many seasons, sponsored the popular 50/50 Half Time draw.

Paul Foy, Ezylet's Chairman stated that "This decision is in the best interests of the club and we look to retain our good relationships with Aldershot Town FC into the future".

The Company employs 250 people of whom 80 have more than 10 years' service. Formed in 1922 it is now run and owned by the third generation of Elliotts.
