Cash for Shots and Player Share Join Forces

Cash for Shots joins forces with the Player Share fund

The Player Share committee are pleased to announce that, after agreement from the Aldershot Town FC Board, they have joined forces with Cash for Shots for the 2012/13 season.

All proceeds from Cash for Shots will now go directly to the Player Share fund, helping the club and Dean to fund exciting signings to boost the squad for the coming season. In the past Player Share have provided funds to assist with the signings of players such as Jermaine McGlashan, Michael Rankine and Aaron Morris

Cash for Shots now has nearly 200 members, all of whom have a weekly opportunity to win £100 a week but Player Share are now looking to raise this number to 300. Paul Marcus of Player Share says "If we can get to our target of 300 members it would be worth around £12,000 to the transfer fund each season."

If you would like to join this scheme and play your part in assisting Dean with his transfer budget, members of the Player Share scheme will be at the front of the ground on Wednesday night, before the Portsmouth match and will be looking to recruit new members. As an added incentive, all new and existing members who are subscribed by 5pm on August 25th will go into a draw to win a replica 20th Anniversary shirt signed by the first team squad.

Also on 25th August Keith Able and colleagues from Player Share will be hosting a sale of over 200 signed footballer photographs, donated from Keith's private collection, again all proceeds going to Player Share.
