Transfer to Football League Interactive

Further to our recent communications we confirm that the new Aldershot Town FC Football League Interactive and premium "Shots Player" site will be live and active on 11th February 2013.

The new website is officially LIVE and will be reflected on your computer systems between 4 and 8 hours from now (2pm GMT). The new website is currently going through the process of 'propagation' and dependant on your Internet Service Providers (AOL / BT etc), you will see the site appear in the next 12 hours for the vast majority of you. Thank you all for your patience during this period.

You may have read via the official match programme and website recently that the club has been working towards transferring its host website to the Football League Interactive (FLI) and, therefore, its premium service too.

We are delighted to announce that this will now be launched on 11th February 2013. We are excited about the wider opportunities that will be available for supporters through the new service that will be provided and whilst aware that there may be teething problems the service that will be provided will be an excellent benefit to the football club. .

There are tremendous new possibilities that will be included on the “Shots Player” site which is the replacement for “Premium Shots”. In addition to the pre and post match previews and reviews via video and audio there will also be a match commentary service provided through our friends from BBC Radio Surrey. Match highlights of all competitive games will also be included in the new package. Furthermore the subscription for “Shots Player” will be considerably reduced from that of Premium Shots for a wider range of activity too. We hope that supporters will be able to subscribe to the new service when it goes live.

We have always been happy with our previous hosts Digital Ink and have maintained an excellent relationship throughout since we first became involved in 2005. However one of the focal points of our transfer to the new service is that Aldershot Town Football Club will benefit considerably financially and it is an opportunity that we had to take. We are pleased to state that we will still be continuing our working relationship with Digital Ink in other areas. There will also be an historical archival link placed on the new website via Digital Ink.

All current subscribers have been contacted via the SMS service and asked to read a message on the current "membership" area which will provide additional information relevant to their current membership.

We thank you for your understanding and patience and hope that you will be in a position to enjoy the new website and "Shots Player" service too.
